Professional Interior Design Sales Associate

Must possess the skills and experience to work with Interior Designer‘s and high-end clientele. • Must possess 2+ years of experience in Professional Sales in a “Trade Showroom “ or related industry or a B.A. degree in Interior Design with 2 year of professional sales experience. • Suggestively selling the existing inventory of rugs in the showroom, as well as collaborating and guiding designers through the process of customizing handmade rugs in color, size, materials and patterns • Must meet or exceed monthly sales goals • Engage with clients and provide exceptional customer service • Utilize knowledge of interior design and product features to guide clients in making informed purchasing decisions • Use QuickBooks to write accurate and detailed quotes for clients, ensuring specifications, pricing and lead times are outlined • Maintain daily log of post client meeting reports and record follow ups for review with management as requested • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product inventory, including the various qualities, materials, styles, and sizes available • Utilize QuickBooks to manage sales transactions, loan memos and inventory availability • With assistance, present and deliver rugs in clients homes while offering expert advice on placement and design choices • Assist and offer guidance in maintaining showroom organization and displays with team members. • Maintain relationships on assigned client list • Prospect to acquire new design firm and architect accounts • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new product knowledge to effectively communicate the benefits and features of our products • Must have a professional appearance • Must have a valid driver's license
