Project Accountant

About the RoleWe're looking for a self-starter and team player who’s able to manage project financial health across the project lifecycle, collaborating with Practice Directors, Project Leads, Design Directors, clients, and consultants. This role is crucial to the success of our projects. We are searching for a Project Accountant with a successful track record of working with Project Managers. • Analyze both project revenue and expenses, ensuring accurate project profit and loss calculations, and communicating project financial performance and profitability to project teams • Oversee project financial onboarding and offboarding with Practice Directors and Project Leads, following and developing best practices • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary Qualifications: • 3-5+ years experience in a creative services environment, preferably with an architecture or design firm • Familiarity with AIA contracts preferred • Accounting or business administration degree preferred • Detail oriented with excellent written, verbal and organization skills • Ability to be flexible, proactive, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities in a rapidly changing work environment • Experience utilizing Google Suite products specifically Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendars.
