Project Architect

slick+designusa is looking for a talented Project Architect located in our Chicago office. slick+designusa partners with businesses around the world to create meaningful transformation through architectural services, planning, interior design, FFE management, and consulting services. s+d is one of the leaders in the hospitality design field and serves clients around the globe from our offices: Chicago, IL Responsibilities • CAD Drafting – set up and maintain CD templates; as-built; schematics; CDs • Site Surveys – short notice travel; site measurements and notes; check for accessible compliance; report to client • Permitting – jurisdictional research through application and permit tracking • Construction Observation – site visits; weekly conference calls; submittal review; RFI review; ASIs and PRs • Correspondence with project managers for project specific info • Assist with budget work planning and proposals • Design Development – assisting principal and Interior Designers Qualifications • Bachelors of Architecture • 7 years architectural experience • Entitlements and permitting experience • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software • Experience with hospitality, retail, residential projects preferred • Strong design portfolio • Experience with Construction drawings Follow us on Instagram @slickdesignusa At slick+designusa we work hard, but we also know the importance of having some fun while doing what we do best.
