Project Architect

Your key responsibilities and opportunities may include: • Creating technically sound and accurate Contract Documents • Collaborating with team members and consultants • Understanding, identifying and applying relevant building codes and standards • Executing a design by ensuring design documentation is in concert with the design intent through all project phases • Performing jurisdictional submittals and interact effectively with jurisdictional personnel • Illustrating past experience in delivering projects that meet the client’s expectations on schedule and execution • Leading the assembly of a full set of construction documents while managing a diverse project team through all aspects of the work • Providing support and mentoring to all team members for specific field, style, or phase of architectural expertise • Developing and maintaining knowledge of industry trends, products, and installation types The ideal candidate must have integrity, be highly motivated, have 6-10 years of experience, a strong design ability, and an interest in being involved in all areas of an architectural practice. • Revit/AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency • Experience in sustainable design, integrated design and LEED guidelines • Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task between projects and maintain organization in a changing environment • Working knowledge of building codes and other regulatory requirements • Advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models • Proven ability to meet deadlines, adhere to budgetary goals and provide high quality service to clients • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills ABA is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
