Project Architect

Studio UNLTD, an award-winning Hospitality Interior Design firm located in Los Angeles, is currently seeking a California-licensed architect to join as we expand the services offered by our studio. The individual will draw, review, stamp and sign plans amongst other duties expected of a licensed architect. Studio UNLTD will cover the E & O insurance on behalf of the individual. Requirements: • Must be a licensed architect in the State of California • Minimum 5 years of experience in all phases of the design process including construction documents and construction administration • Must have minimum 2 years Hospitality Interior and/or Architecture experience • Strong knowledge of current California and municipal codes • High level knowledge of construction methods and detailing • Experience with plan check expediting • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally • Must be flexible to work independently and as a team • Experience with QA/QC Responsibilities: • Generate and monitor project schedules • Team/drawing management • Consultant coordination • Complete range of construction administration duties • Management of project documents from pre-design through construction • Able to create feasibility studies and due diligence reports • Permit processing • Review of all plan sets for code compliance and constructability • Moderate and track the bid process Minimum Skills: AutoCAD, Sketchup rendering, Hand Sketching, Office Suite Key Employee Benefits offered (after full-time employment): company-subsidized group medical insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, modified summer hours, flexible PTO.
