Project Architect – Workplace Interiors

As a Project Architect in our Miami office, you will lead the technical execution, documentation, and delivery of interior architecture projects across all phases—from concept through construction. and ensure fully integrated technical solutions.Evaluate design options against constructability, codes, building performance, and budget constraints, proactively resolving technical challenges.Serve as a point of contact for clients and project partners, communicating technical strategies and resolving execution‑related issues.Guide teams in the application of materials, systems, specifications, and FF&E to ensure performance and compliance.Lead construction administration activities, including submittal review, RFIs, site observations, and field‑issue resolution.Integrate advanced digital tools (Revit, Enscape, computational design, AR/VR) to support design analysis and technical delivery.Mentor team members in best practices for detailing, documentation standards, and project delivery excellence. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.6–10 years of interior architecture experience with emphasis on technical execution, documentation, and project delivery.Demonstrated experience functioning on multidisciplinary teams and delivering coordinated construction documents.Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.Expert proficiency in Revit; proficiency with SketchUp, InDesign, 3ds Max, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro preferred.Registered/Licensed Architect (if you are in the process of taking AREs, feel free to contact [email protected] to determine whether another opening could be a match for your background)LEED, Fitwell or WELL accreditation is preferredDemonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices; Portfolios will ideally include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
