The Design Department Manager is responsible for the overall management of the design department, architectural and interior design staff, and is responsible for meeting or exceeding goals set forth by the Leadership Team... The Design Department Manager will collaborate with all other employees as a team and effectively lead all phases of the design process to meet project objectives, budgets, and deadlines. As a seasoned professional, the Design Manager will uphold the standards and policies of CRD, the design process and design deliverables, and will maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of residential building code, permitting requirements in King County and industry-standard practices for architect, design and construction. • Work with Production Manager and Project Managers to ensure viability of design for construction.
