Project Engineer

Perform the duties of an architectural designer using knowledge of architectural design, interior design, spatial design, building codes, construction plans and elevations, lighting design, graphic design, and material use and sourcing, and utilizing technology tools for 3D modeling and rendering, including AutoDesk Viz, AutoDesk CAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk 3dsMax, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Lumion, Twinmotion, 3D walk-through video, and VR 3D modeling. Duties include coordinating the activities of the construction team, vendors, and suppliers for commercial and residential architecture and interior design projects; creating and developing design ideas; preparing and delivering presentations to clients; applying for and obtaining permits for construction projects; developing and preparing architectural plans, construction plans, design plans, and customized furniture design plans; developing professional 3D computer renderings; and visiting job sites as needed to ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with contract requirements. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (1) Bachelor’s degree with a major in architecture, interior/industrial/commercial design, or closely-related field. (2) 6 months of work experience as an architectural designer or interior designer using knowledge of architectural design, interior design, spatial design, building codes, construction plans and elevations, lighting design, graphic design, and material use and sourcing, and utilizing technology tools for 3D modeling and rendering, including AutoDesk Viz, AutoDesk CAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk 3dsMax, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Lumion, Twinmotion, 3D walk-through video, and VR 3D modeling. Experience may have been gained prior to completion of the required degree.
