Project Estimator / Construction Project Manager

OVERVIEW We are looking for a dynamic new member to join our Marketing Team! This high- impact role of Project Estimator is responsible for working with our project management and estimating teams to Estimate custom casework, millwork and furniture using Creoworks standards. They contribute to the assessment of project design and contributes to improved craftsmanship, quality and lower costs through clear documentation practices. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \\- Estimating \\- Develops bids based on company best practices \\- Facilitates vendor relationships and solicits quotes \\- Coordinates with sales team \\- Attends and contribute to regular production meetings involving all current projects \\- Assists Project Managers in sourcing best solutions for their jobs PHYSICAL/MISC REQUIREMENTS \\- On occasion you may be required to perform various tasks including, but not limited to carrying supplies and reaching/lifting objects up to 40lbs \\- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work-related documents \\- Strong reading and math skills are essential for calculating measurements and angles and determining accurate adjustments \\- A good understanding of geometry helps with interpreting designs DESIRED EXPERIENCE 4 Year degree in Construction related studies including but not limited to Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, and construction management. The ability communicate design ideas using standard drawing practices like plans, elevations, sections, and 3D images.
