Project Interior Designer

You will be the right candidate for us if you have the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, preferably CIDA Accredited program • Experience in Project management and creating design documents • Must have and renovation projects • Must provide portfolio and examples of construction documents to be considered for the position • Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction documents • Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite, Virtual Rendering Software, and Microsoft Office • Are at all times a team player, reliable, independent worker, who is able to take initiative • Committed to being an integral part of our team, and strive to find a company to grow with • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation • A people person, passionate about developing relationships with clients, vendors, and trades • Ability to set your own working hours, meeting project deadlines and delivering quality work • Willingness to adhere to appropriate dress code standards and consistently present themselves as a professional representative of Slate Studios in all interactions and engagements • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Assist senior interior designer in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials. Design Development and Sourcing • Contribute to the development of design concepts and ideas for residential or commercial spaces. While most secondary responsibilities will be delegated as needed to assist the Senior Interior Designer, there may be occasions when the Interior Designer takes on a more substantial role in these secondary tasks. • Ensure that the interior design drawings, installation methods, and design specifications are followed correctly.
