Project managers also have exposure to the business side of architecture including proposal writing and project financial tracking.Job Responsibilities Programming, Schematic Design, and Design DevelopmentConstruction DocumentsConstruction AdministrationFinishes Selection3D RenderingsConference calls and meetings with clients, engineers, vendors, and general contractorsExpected to lead client presentationsExpected to be an active participant at all networking eventsExpected to provide mentorship to other team members as neededExpected to work closely with other members of the team including delegation to team members earlier in their careerRequirements Skills and AbilitiesProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Proficient in Adobe Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)Proficient in AutoCAD, 3d rendering/visualization softwareAdvanced abilities in Revit is requiredIntermediate redlining abilities is requiredExcellent communication skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to multitask and balance multiple projectsInteriors experience is a plusWork Experience5-8 years of relevant work experienceFormal EducationBachelor degree in Architecture or related fieldLicenses/CertificationsNone requiredLicensed Architect or on the path to becoming licensed preferredThis information is to be treated as an overview of the position and not all encompassing of the role.
