Colley Architects is currently seeking an Architect and an Interior Designer for our office located in Blacksburg, Virginia. Required Qualifications for Interior Designer: \\- 5+ years’ experience in Interior Design is desired \\- 4 Year Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Related Major \\- Certified Interior Designer (preferred) or on an active path to becoming Certified in Virginia \\- Possess knowledge of applicable building codes in evaluating code compliance \\- Hardworking and devoted to the creation of dynamic, engaging designs \\- Ideally possess strong design and graphic skills \\- Ability to interact effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, and other offices with a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information \\- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities \\- Must exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership \\- Must possess good time-management skills and strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail \\- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills \\- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision \\- Fluent in architectural design understanding and coordination \\- 3+ years' experience with Revit \\- Enthusiastic about being a lifelong learner \\- Have a sense of humor! Must be passionate about quality Design, your Community, and the Environment. May be requested to work additional hours to meet the needs of the firm.
