- Atlantic's premier commercial interior contractors, is looking for a Regional Director to lead its Richmond operation. The company specializes in metal framing, drywall installation, acoustical ceilings, specialty ceilings, floor preparation, and other interior construction solutions. With over 400 field professionals delivering millions of square feet of commercial interior construction each year, they have built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, reliable execution, and long-term partnerships with leading general contractors, developers, and owners across the region.

### What You’ll Do

As Regional Director, you provide executive leadership for the Richmond business. You oversee operations, project execution, financial performance, client development, and team leadership across a diverse commercial interior construction portfolio. You lead all operational activities for the division, ensuring safe, profitable, and efficient project delivery. From preconstruction through closeout, you oversee project execution while mentoring and developing Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership.

You drive operational excellence across scheduling, estimating, budgeting, procurement, production, and quality control. Building and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and industry partners is key. You identify new business opportunities and expand existing client partnerships. Managing division financial performance—including forecasting, profitability, staffing, and resource planning—falls under your purview. Collaborating with executive leadership, you develop long-term growth strategies and operational initiatives. You champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement, ensuring every project meets high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

### What We’re Looking For

A minimum of 10 years leadership experience within commercial interior construction is required. You must have a strong background in drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, or related specialty contracting. Demonstrated success leading multiple project teams and managing large-scale commercial construction operations is essential. A solid understanding of estimating, scheduling, project management, budgeting, and operational planning is expected. You should have a proven ability to develop high-performing teams while mentoring future leaders. Experience managing business unit financial performance, forecasting, and operational metrics is necessary. Excellent relationship-building skills with clients, general contractors, and design professionals are key, along with a strong business development mindset and a history of expanding customer relationships. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
