Residential Architectural Designer

Bayfair Custom Homes is a premier residential design-build firm specializing in luxury new home construction and high-end remodels in the Tampa Bay area for over 37 years. We are seeking a Residential Architectural Designer with strong design judgment, technical excellence, and a collaborative mindset to help create exceptional custom homes and transformative renovations. The Residential Architectural Designer leads the development of architectural design projects, from early concept through fully coordinated construction drawings for luxury custom residences and expansive high-end remodels. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.5+ years of professional experience with a strong focus on luxury residential projects.Demonstrated experience leading design efforts and coordinating with clients and consultants.Strong knowledge of and experience with concept drawings and presentations, construction drawings, specification documents, and submittals.Strong visual communication skills, including both hand sketching and digital modeling.Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Proven project management ability, including coordination of timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Proficiency with design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.Strong attention to detail and time management, with a consistent, reliable work ethic.A “do the right thing” attitude and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
