RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 3-5 years experience in residential remodeling. We need a team player who puts customer service first, has strong leadership abilities and respects the process we follow to get the job done. Sun Design from an employee perspective: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyTr_UxRTac Sun Design from a client perspective: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SONMDTIPlo Job requirements include: * The ability to perform site measures and create as-built drawings; * Independently set-up, produce and develop plans, elevations, sections, and architectural massing/3D models (including mechanical and electrical requirements) in phases as needed for the remodel; * Develop options and make revisions throughout each project; * Prepare material estimates; * Thorough understanding of building materials and construction methods; * Knowledge of procedures for production of construction documents; * Knowledge of building codes; and * Strong project management and time management skills This position requires designing a wide variety of residential remodeling projects using our Design/Build process.
