A rapidly growing residential construction company in Chicago, IL is looking for a talented Residential Designer to join their team. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Designer position include: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction design, with strong technical and creative abilities • Meet with clients to understand their needs, guide design choices, and develop complete residential remodel plans • Use AutoCAD, Chief Architect, and Adobe tools to create demolition plans, material lists, and finished designs • Oversee all phases of design from start to finish, including order processing, material tracking, and deadline execution • Opportunity to lead the entire design department within a supportive and rapidly expanding team • Strong communication, organizational, and proofreading skills to maintain quality and accuracy in all client deliverables • Blend creativity with technical construction knowledge to provide solutions tailored to budget and style • On-site work approximately 30% of the time for project kick-offs; 70% of time remote with Mon–Fri 8–5 schedule Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential up to $25,000.
