Residential Interior Designer - Chief Architect Software

You'll work closely with clients, project managers, contractors, and vendors from the initial consultation through project completion. Key Responsibilities Design kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodeling projects using Chief Architect softwareMeet with homeowners to understand their goals, lifestyle, budget, and design preferencesDevelop floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and presentation materialsProduce accurate, construction-ready drawings and design documentationAssist clients with selecting cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, flooring, lighting, colors, and materialsCoordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and vendors throughout the design and construction processRevise plans based on client feedback while maintaining project schedulesEnsure all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, code-conscious, and buildableMaintain organized project files and accurate documentation for multiple active projects Requirements Professional experience in residential interior design, home remodeling, or renovationAdvanced proficiency with Chief Architect software is requiredStrong knowledge of residential construction methods, detailing, and space planningExperience producing construction-ready plans and professional design presentationsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, organization, and client relationship skillsStrong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilitiesExperience working directly with homeowners throughout the design process is highly preferred
