Residential Interior Designer (Contract Project Based)

We currently have an opening (contract/project based) for an Interior Designer position with Project management experienced with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an interior design or architectural office who possesses strong design and graphic abilities as well as project management skills... to support the Project Lead in the creation and development of overall design concepts, presentations, design development and production. • Deliver complete, accurate and coordinated documentation on projects with aggressive schedules • Develop solutions to technical and design problems • Translation of design concepts into construction documents for both interior and exterior systems • Collaboration on project design, construction documents and construction administration • Consultant coordination • Quality control and document review • Intermittent travel between Texas and California for projects • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned • Design architectural details such as built-ins, moldings, and tile design • Draw furniture layouts in CAD, Revit, and Sketch up • Observe progress and quality of subcontractor or contractor work as required. • Team player, able to work well with others but also have the ability to work independently without supervision. • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or in Interior Design • Minimum 3 years’ experience in design & construction documents of single family residential
