Residential Interior/Exterior Designer

Job Description An Interior Designer/Drafter is sought to join the design and sales team. This position will be responsible for working with the design and sales team in executing the daily design needs of the company. Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years' experience in Interior DesignStrong knowledge of the residential marketAbility to work both independently and within a teamAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong work ethic Responsible for leading meetings with clients, determining clients' needs, designing the space and/or structure, selecting materials, and following projects through completion from a design standpointMust be a team player, open to constructive criticism and other points of view, and have a positive attitudeWork from the office (this is not a work-from-home position)Must be fluent in AutoCAD and 3D rendering programs; currently using Chief ArchitectSome construction and design experience required, as this is a full-service design and build companyTypes of projects include kitchens, bathrooms, additions, exteriors, lower levels, exterior living spaces, complete interior updates, porches, and decksFull-time employee position.
