Job description Haus of Blaylock is an award winning Interior Design firm servicing the DFW area. The position will be part-time with the opportunity to move into full-time but not necessary. A typical day includes a variety of responsibilities - from rolling up your sleeves and ensuring the Showroom is in tip-top shape, loading/packing and unloading/unpacking for design jobs, ordering and following up on purchase orders, scheduling crews, keeping up with the inventory for the store and for design jobs. You should be as comfortable picking up the phone as you are sending an email •Exceptional organizational, time management, and follow-through skills and to not get flustered when there are multiple tasks being required of you •High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative •A goal-oriented, team player with a positive attitude *Honest and understanding. •Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and wear many "hats" Requirements: •High-Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint (and openness to learn the software used for the design industry) •Strong verbal and written communication skills required •Coordinate with delivery personnel to accept and ship product - this may involve varying levels of physical exertion •Be professional and presentable •Ability to drive the company van - which will require a clean driving record •Answer/communicate with owner off-hours due to the ongoing accountability she has with clients.
