Position Overview

Inspo by KHL Design Studio is seeking a personable, organized, and creative individual for a part-time Retail & Design Administrative Assistant position.

This role combines retail customer service at Inspo with administrative, marketing, and project support for KHL Design Studio. We are flexible in how the position is structured and are looking for someone whose strengths complement our team.

Retail & Shop Support

• Assist customers with furniture, artwork, accessories, gifts, and home décor selections

• Process sales, special orders, and product inquiries

• Receive, price, organize, and track merchandise and inventory

• Maintain product displays, seasonal merchandising, and an inviting shop environment

• Assist with shop events and promotions

Design & Administrative Support

• Prepare proposals, specifications, schedules, spreadsheets, and project documents

• Assist with product sourcing, pricing, and availability

• Communicate with vendors regarding quotes, orders, shipping, and product information

• Track client orders, deliveries, and project details

• Organize samples, materials, project files, and studio resources

• Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and general office support

Marketing Support

• Assist with social media, newsletters, email marketing, and promotions

• Create marketing materials in Canva

• Assist with Inspo and KHL Design Studio website updates and customer outreach

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service, administration, interior design, marketing, or a related field preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and take initiative

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems

• Experience with Canva, Microsoft Excel, Mailchimp, website management platforms, and basic SEO preferred

• Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a small-business environment
