Retail furniture store part-time sales associate

Local, independent home furnishings store seeking part-time sales/customer service/design associate. Dwellings is a unique and locally owned furniture store located in Asheville, NC. We are looking for a part-time sales associate who is positive, hardworking, and customer service oriented. Job Requirements: • 20-25 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to increase hours • Weekend availability • Passion for design, home furnishings and helping customers • Excellent phone presence, professional appearance and confident people skills • Retail Sales experience and interior design experience/schooling a plus Responsibilities include: • Working with clients in store and in home design calls • Merchandising settings and displays • Assembly/Moving furniture and unpacking/stocking accessories • Building and maintaining solid knowledge of inventory Please send your cover letter and resume to the Craigslist response email address (no calls or drop-ins please) or to info@dwellingsinspired.com.
