Retail Sales Associate

Local Floor Covering Company looking for Retail Sales Associate. We did not do any reduction of Staff, hours or salaries during Covid. The primary function of a Retail Sales Associate is to provide design consultation services, selling flooring and installation to customers. Responsibilities include the overall operation of the retail showroom, showing customers samples, possibly measuring and scheduling of jobs, pricing, managing jobs including liaisons with installation crews, maintaining high company standards for quality and customer service, inside and outside sales calling on potential customers, working with manufacturers reps, answering phones, opening and closing showroom, ordering samples, cleanliness and organization of retail showroom, stocking of materials, rolls and remnants, utilizing computer programs, email, business software, ensuring proper credit review and prompt payment for all customers, work with Managers to achieve company goals and objectives, be available to work on weekends, evenings, and attend and company events and sales when necessary. Previous floor covering, outside sales, Architectural and/or interior design experience is a plus, but not required.
