Retail Sales Manager

We are looking for a dynamic retail manager/leader with experience in the luxury retail field. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in retail sales, client management and have strong data that illustrates their past success. Responsibilities Develop business strategies to grow our customer pool, expand store visibility and traffic and optimize profitability Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff Excellent knowledge of furniture production methods and general product knowledge of featured vendors' products and various customization options available; ability to teach and lead PK sessions with sales staff Creative thinking and ability to suggest customization options to clients Manage client and trade client database while attracting more of both. Work with owner to conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) Additional store manager duties as needed Skills Proven successful experience as a retail manager and sales associate; experience required.
