Sales Associate/ decorator

Do you have an eye for interiors, getting your interior design degree, or are amazing at selling to clients? We are looking for a driven rockstar retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from measuring, estimating, to closing sales when selling flooring, fabric and window coverings. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our window coverings and flooring and recommending the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Responsibilities Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and service Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries “Go the extra mile” to drive sales Put back samples, pull drops and help keep the showroom organized Actively seek out customers in store Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options Must be know how to use Word, and excel Cross sell products Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service Build productive trust relationships with customers Comply with inventory control procedures Place orders, follow up on orders, type up proposals and invoices and cost out sales Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design) Interior design or decorating knowlege and plus but not required Skills Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Proficiency in English Great with Math Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements Track record of over-achieving sales quota Hands-on experience with POS transactions Familiarity with inventory procedures Solid communication and interpersonal skills A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner Availability to work flexible shifts High school degree; BS degree in Marketing / Business or related field would be a plus Pay DOE Hours Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm during training After training Monday - Friday 9am-6pm COVID-19 precautions Personal protective equipment provided or required Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place All customers and employees are required to wear a mask.
