A strong sales leader, who thrives on meeting and exceeding individual and team goals while building client relationships, supporting parent headquarters and Manager with design community outreach, in store monthly events, and maintaining day to day store operation and inventory. Familiarity with Lightspeed POS, Quickbooks, ecommerce and social media a plus but not a requirement. Must be able to work holiday schedule including Saturdays and Sundays. – dusting, sweeping, rolling sofas, return swatch books and orient them on sofas mopping which is daily and ongoing - Be engaging with customers - come out from behind the cash wrap to greet guests - Handling all aspects of sales, rentals and memos following guidelines and procedures - Receive incoming merchandise- tag and photograph before adding to sales floor - Meeting and exceeding sales goals - Merchandising, visual display, maintaining a fresh innovative retail atmosphere - Maintaining and pricing items in store make sure all items are properly tagged and labeled. - Logistics and handling of period furniture and art object, researching vintage pieces and styles - Awareness of competition and design trends - Follow all cash desk policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, along with credit card and customer privacy compliance - Maintain security standards within the store to ensure safety of customers, colleagues and merchandise - Follow all procedures with delivery and follow thru on all orders - Social Media: Take photos.
