The main responsibilities of this role revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients and persuade others to purchase products. Job Title – Sales Representative Location – New York Field – Glass Interior Partitions Responsibilities: Be knowledgeable about the product Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs Set up meetings and face-to-face presentations with architectural firms and other prospective clients Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems Answer questions about the products Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships Requirements: Customer service Meeting sales goals and Territory management Closing and prospecting skills Product knowledge Presentation and Client relationships skills Motivation for sales Able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, business, architecture, or interior design preferred Three to five years of industry sales experience (interior products, interior design) This is a key role and offers extensive career development and progression as well as the opportunity to work for a renowned subcontractor.
