Seeking Design Professional for Residential Renovation Company

In this role, you will travel to various homes throughout the Bay Area and create proposals to the lead designer based on the design needs of each project. • Meet with project manager and come up with a design plan for the property according to the current architecture of the home. • Take drafting measurements of the home • Work closely with project manager and contractor to ensure NMT’s vision and standards are being met • Source all necessary materials on time and budget • Data entry for all materials purchased before and used throughout the project • Work with shipping/delivery companies to ensure product is sent to site • Weekly check ins on projects and FaceTime meetings with lead designer • Foster and maintain relationships with local vendors, distributors, builders, and architects • Draw simple plans and designs for more detailed built-in additions • Update all affected project managers, vendors, and contractors should delays arise • Remain calm and collected even when dealing with problems that’s arise during the construction process Interior Designer Requirements and Qualifications • Experience in interior design preferred • A self starter that is able to maintain their own schedule • Able to work within a team setting with effective communication • Excellent multi-tasker and can manage multiple projects at once • Able to uphold NMT Investment’s vision • Keen awareness of space and room flow • Is able to keep up to date with latest design trends • Is not afraid to use multiple design styles • Ability to envision the finished project • Familiarity of computer design programs such as revit is preferred • Ability to provide accurate measurements and drawings of the home is preferred • Able to drive throughout Bay Area • Be technology forward • Knowledge of the permitting process and local building codes is a plus • Strong leadership qualities • Be deadline and detail oriented
