Job Summary of Senior Creative Designer: The Senior Creative Designer at Floor & Decor takes the lead in managing the design team and delivering a holistic design service that fosters enduring relationships and customer loyalty. They are in charge of meeting with clients, understanding their project requirements, guiding them through all the necessary project details, and developing an innovative design concept that encompasses the client's personal taste, lifestyle, and budget constraints. Requirements of Senior Creative Designer: • Enrolling in a BA or AA program in Interior Design equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to conceptualize and execute interior spaces that meet clients' needs and preferences • Counting 6 years of interior design industry experience in place of a design-oriented academic background • Equivalence to a six-year period achieved through a mix of schooling and hands-on learning • Preference will be given to candidates with past retail or sales experience • Being knowledgeable about hard surface flooring is a positive attribute • Highly competent in foundational math skills • Must exhibit self-initiative and adeptness at juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting • High level of competence in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication • Fundamental computer literacy, which encompasses knowledge of the Microsoft Office software • Successful internal candidates should have accumulated 24 months of experience specifically in the role of a Floor & Decor Designer Working Conditions of Senior Creative Designer: • Limited travel may be required by car • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
