Senior Design Coordinator

The Role We Want You For LJC is seeking an experienced Senior Design Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary design coordination efforts for complex industrial projects. Lead overall project coordination across multiple engineering and design disciplines.Serve as the primary liaison between clients, project management teams, discipline leads, and consultants.Guide project teams through conceptual design, detailed design, construction support, and project closeout.Interpret PFDs and P&IDs to develop optimized facility layouts.Coordinate process, civil, structural, architectural, and MEPFP design integration.Lead project design reviews and quality control efforts.Drive schedule coordination and communication of critical design decisions.Collaborate with project leadership to manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk.Mentor designers and technical staff while promoting best practices.Support project pursuits, presentations, and business development activities. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
