Senior Designer for Retail Products We’re seeking a Senior Designer with exceptional layout, packaging, and product design skills who’s also excited to take the lead on a few retailer programs. Key Responsibilities: • Own the creative execution for several assigned retailer programs, acting as the design lead in collaboration with the rest of the design and development department, and acting as the point person on those programs throughout the company • Design high-quality, consumer-informed products and packaging including impulse products, notebooks, stickers, craft kits, and more • Translate project kickoffs and trend research into compelling retail-ready concepts • Work closely with junior designers, providing feedback, guidance, and support as they develop assets for your programs • Organize and manage your design timelines, reviews, and file releases to meet project deadlines • Present ideas internally with confidence and clarity, incorporating feedback quickly • Stay current on retail and design trends, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration to your work and building trend boards and style guides • Review files for accuracy and quality before production • Build professional and captivating presentations Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in graphic or product design, ideally in the retail space • Strong portfolio showcasing advanced design and layout skills for consumer products • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) • Exceptional attention to detail and strong sense of visual hierarchy and typography • Proven ability to take ownership of projects and drive them from concept to production • Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and collaborating across departments • Experience with packaging and product development for mass retail is a plus • Trend forecasting experience is a big bonus • Ability to provide clear direction and mentorship to junior team members • Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com is helpful • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Product Design, or a related field Benefits: • Paid holidays and generous PTO • IRA plan with company matching • Health/Dental/Vision insurance, HSA • Hybrid work schedule (in-office & remote flexibility) • Family-owned, entrepreneurial team culture • Downtown Cleveland location with parking provided • Entertainment budget for exploring Cleveland fun
