Essential Functions... • Defines design or project elements and processes required to meet client needs, along with participating in and coordinating estimates and proposal/bid preparations. Performs field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects to ensure projects adhere to architectural plans. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field from an accredited university • Minimum of five (5) years related experience in architectural planning and design • Minimum of two (2) years practical CADD experience • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in space planning, architecture, facilities management, real estate, or space information management are required • A high degree of competency is required in CAD and graphics software packages, including Integrated Workplace Information Management (IWMS) or Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems such as Planon or Archibus, as well as database, spreadsheet, and word processing software • 8+ years total of related design experience • NCIDQ certification is a plus • EDAC Certification is a plus • LEED and/or WELL accreditation is a plus • Previous experience in Healthcare is a plus Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
