Senior Interior Designer

Our clientele ranges from professional athletes to leaders of technology companies to music entrepreneurs. The Senior Designer is responsible for managing design staff and for the design, implementation and management of multiple design projects. Exceptional degrees of discretion and judgment are expected and required in carrying out these duties: Oversees and manages design staff; expected to be able to provide Owner detailed reviews of employee performance and recommendations for hiring, rates of pay, promotions and terminations Independently manages designated design projects from programming through project completion Attends client meetings and manage client communications Develops space planning and design concepts for projects in collaboration with Principal and Junior designers Assembles and assists in design presentations to clients, including CAD, 3d renderings/finish boards Prepares construction documents and design drawings for contractor bidding and permitting Provides support to Principal designer on complex design projects and where requested Maintains and keeps current, organized records for all design projects QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Minimum 5 years experience as a professional Interior Designer or Interior Architect, including Project Management work. Work effectively within a team environment. Able to prepare construction documents and create design concepts/documentation with advanced knowledge of detailing for interior construction.
