Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer located in the Design District in Dallas, TX. furniture, and other materials and preparing formal presentations. Responsibilities • Design high-end multi-family residential projects around the US • Develop interior design concepts for a project's theme, character, design and mood • Create concept development and FFE presentations for projects, both for internal and external review/use • Develop construction drawing sets including working drawings, interior elevations, and details, using AutoCAD • Select and provide all finish call-outs and specifications for projects • Collaborate with the architect and the consultants to produce fully coordinated construction drawing sets • Develop strong FFE packages including artwork, drapery and accessories • Create and manage FFE budgets and project schedules • Source innovative finish materials and creative applications • Manage all aspects of FF&E purchasing, including vendor quotes, purchase orders, expediting and installation coordination • Lead client meetings at our office and off site • Provide weekly status reports to the Design Director and/or Principal • Collaborate with the Design Director on all aspects of the project, as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field • NCIDQ certification or equivalent is preferred but not required • 4+ years of interior design experience, preferably with a focus on multi-family design • Strong technical and graphic presentation skills with experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Studio Designer and Photoshop (preferred but not required) • Strong knowledge of the comprehensive design process (Schematic Design, Design Development, FF&E, Construction Documents, Construction Administration and Onsite Installation) • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills • Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects in various stages of development • Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment • Ability to travel - for project construction walk,s project installs and trade shows.
