Senior Interior Designer at AHL Honolulu, HI

AHL’s office in downtown Honolulu is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with experience in all aspects of interior design, documentation and implementation. • Experience in user interviewing, space planning, preparing interior design concepts, preparing presentation materials, and presenting to clients • Working knowledge of interiors materials and details, millwork detailing, bidding and pricing procedures, code compliance, permit approval, and construction/installation process • Knowledge of drafting techniques including Revit, CAD, and hand drafting and sketching • Knowledge of interior design presentation techniquesincluding knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and/or other similar presentationsoftware preferred. typical duties • Establishes the interior design direction, goals, andguidelines of a project in conjunction with the Principal-in-Charge and/orInterior Design Director. • Works directly under the Principal-in-Charge or InteriorDesign Director on interiors projects, or as part of an architectural team on aproject. • Manages and produces smaller projects and manages the workefforts of an interior design team on larger projects • Assists Principal-in-Charge and/or Interior Design Directorin establishing project budgets, preparing proposals, and assigning projectteams.
