Senior Interior Designer

This firm has been in the industry for over 40 years, with a diverse range in project types including: small scale healthcare, entertainment, hospitality, industrial, retail, K-12, and worship. They are looking for a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to lead high-impact design projects from concept to completion. This role requires a strong design portfolio, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of materials, furnishings, and spatial planning. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative and functional interior environments. Key Responsibilities:Lead the design process for interior projects, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and FF&E specifications.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate interior design with architectural elements.Present design concepts and materials to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, renderings, and documentation for construction and installation.Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative studio environment.Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to each project.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or related field.7+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray).Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and construction documentation.Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.Ability to lead client meetings and manage expectations effectively.Preferred Qualifications:NCIDQ Certification or equivalent.Experience in [insert sector, e.g., luxury residential, hospitality, corporate interiors, etc.
