• Troubleshoot site issues with contractors & communicate options to clients • Can complete accurate and detailed site measures to include construction measures if needed Design: • Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, cabinets, flooring, tiles, and plumbing fixtures • Create presentations using trade resources • Depth of knowledge for trade resources Personality & Design Sense: • Intuition - If you walk into a room and intuitively know that the soffit should be raised and where the recessed lights should go, this is the job for you. Intuitive design is not a skill that can be learned – it is something that you are born with. To have this design intuition and passion for design in addition to your creative and technical skills is critical to the success of this role.
