Senior Interior Designer

We’re looking for an experienced Interior Designer III to join in our St. Louis office. What You’ll Do • Serve as a design leader for interior projects, guiding concepts from programming to final documentation • Lead and facilitate programming meetings, balancing design vision, budget, and client priorities • Develop and present design concepts and materials to clients, providing clear options for decision-making • Oversee the quality and completeness of design documents to ensure alignment with project goals • Solve complex technical design issues and develop details that deliver on design intent • Prepare and review specifications to achieve best value for the client • Mentor junior interior designers, providing guidance on design, technical execution, and professional growth • Build and maintain client relationships, representing FGMA at meetings, presentations, and industry events • Collaborate closely with project managers to track schedules, budgets, and deliverables • Support marketing and business development initiatives within the Municipal practice The Perks • Hybrid schedule: work from home Mondays and Fridays • Flexible Fridays: option to work extended hours Monday–Thursday for a half-day Friday • PTO, paid parental leave (8 weeks for both parents), and bereavement leave • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Short- and long-term disability, basic life and AD&D • 401(k) with company match + ESOP (you’re not just an employee, you’re an owner!)
