Senior Interior Designer

The Senior Project Designer is accountable for creating the design vision and delivering fully developed, buildable construction design packages using Chief Architect. This role leads clients through the design process from concept to production handoff, ensuring all selections, drawings, and documentation align with project goals, budget, code requirements, and the company’s high design standards. Design Development All work will be performed according to company policies, processes, and standards, supporting the company’s vision.All work will be documented, stored, and organized according to company procedures (Buildertrend, Google Drive, file naming conventions).Internal and external calls/emails will be responded to within two hours whenever possible, and no later than one business day.All proprietary company and client information will be held strictly confidential.The immediate manager will be notified early of any issues that could impact scope, budget, client satisfaction, or deadlines — before the deadline is missed. 5–7+ years of professional residential interior design experience.Proficiency in Chief Architect preferred.Strong understanding of residential construction, detailing, and California building codes.Experience preparing permit-ready drawing sets and coordinating with engineers and consultants.Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
