Senior Interior Designer & FF+E

Full Time: 40 Hours Per Week Working Hours: 9AM - 5PM EST Remote Position: Must live in NC or SC WHO WE ARELevel Five Designs is a multi-family interior design firm based in Raleigh, NC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGENERALCollaborate effectively with team members to support cohesive project executionComply with company templates, design process and presentation standardsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyCommunicate and present to clientsCreate, build and maintain professional relationships with current and perspective clientsFF&E DESIGNDevelop and lead FF&E concepts, furniture plans, layouts, and specificationsSelect and specify furniture systems, case goods, seating, lighting, accessories, and specialty itemsOversee finish, fabric, and material selections for FF&E scopeProduce and review FF&E schedules, specifications, budgets, and design narrativesCoordinate FF&E scope with architectural, interior, lighting, and specialty consultantsPrepare FF&E presentation boards and finish palettesFF&E INSTALLATIONLead on‑site FF&E installations to ensure accurate placement and alignmentDirect installation sequencing and field coordinationConduct installation punch walks and lead resolution of deficienciesResolve field conflicts while maintaining design integrityPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field required5-10 years of commercial design firm experience required or 3 years with Level Five DesignsSketchUp experience requiredDeep knowledge of FF&E systems, materials, manufacturers, and commercial interiors standardsStrong understanding of commercial building codes, ADA, and life safety requirementsBluebeam, Google Workspace, Procore, Adobe Creative Suite and CAD experience preferredMulti-family and/or hospitality experience preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods during site visitsAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50-60 lbs as neededAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform light physical tasksComfortable working in active jobsite environmentsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTSAnnual Required Travel: ~60-75 days for project installations (Southeast/Mid Atlantic and Southwest)Must live within an hour's drive of a major airportMust have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
