Amaro Design Center is a luxury remodeling showroom serving homeowners, contractors, designers, architects, and builders throughout Southern California.

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer who is more than just a designer—you enjoy meeting people, building relationships, selling design services, and growing a business.

If you've worked at a design studio, cabinet showroom, tile showroom, flooring company, or luxury design center and already have relationships with contractors, designers, architects, builders, or developers, we want to speak with you.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist walk-in showroom customers
Sell interior design services
Create beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, and full-home designs
Help customers select cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, doors, hardware, and finishes
Prepare design presentations and material selections
Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, designers, architects, developers, and other industry professionals
Bring existing business relationships and continue developing new accounts
Generate repeat business and referrals
Follow up with clients and close showroom sales
Work closely with our remodeling and construction teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

Qualifications

4+ years of interior design or showroom sales experience
Experience working in a design center, cabinet showroom, flooring showroom, kitchen & bath showroom, or similar environment
Strong sales and customer service skills
Existing relationships with contractors, designers, architects, builders, or developers are highly preferred
Experience preparing design boards and finish selections
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organized, professional, and self-motivated

Cabinet design software (2020 Design or similar)

Compensation

Competitive salary pay based on experience
Commission opportunities on design services and showroom sales
Performance bonuses

Pay: $80,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
