Through meticulous attention to detail, the thoughtful integration of custom furnishings and artisan‑made pieces, and an unwavering commitment to design excellence, we create spaces that elevate everyday living and leave a lasting impression.Role Description The Senior Interior Designer / Design Director is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position based in Atlanta. As a key member of our leadership team and the Principal’s second‑in‑command within the design studio, this individual will lead both our talented design staff and their own portfolio of projects from concept through final installation.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading by example as they are leading a team. They must be capable of independently executing sophisticated design solutions—including concept development, space planning, CAD documentation, 3D modeling, material selections, specifications, and presentations—while effectively mentoring, delegating to, and directing Associate Designers and Design Assistants.Responsibilities include establishing the creative direction for luxury residential and boutique hospitality projects; reviewing and redlining construction documents; collaborating with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, artisans, and vendors; managing project schedules and budgets; and ensuring every project reflects Habachy Designs + Atelier’s uncompromising standards of service, craftsmanship, and design excellence.The ideal candidate is an accomplished designer, confident decision‑maker, and inspiring leader with the ability to seamlessly transition between hands‑on project execution and studio leadership.
