Role Description Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Naples, Florida. This position oversees residential and commercial interior design projects from concept through completion, coordinating design development, space planning, and construction documentation while maintaining client communication and satisfaction. The role includes managing project schedules and budgets, collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and supervising procurement of furniture, finishes, lighting, and materials. The Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager will prepare and review drawings and specifications, ensure quality and code compliance, and conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues. Day-to-day responsibilities also include organizing project meetings, updating stakeholders, and supporting Broad Avenue's sister company, the Gordon Pass Group, which serves as an owner's representation and construction project management firm. In fulfilling these roles and responsibilities, you will lead the design team in delivering cohesive, functional, and aesthetically aligned spaces, and assist with project and construction management.
Qualifications
Strong interior design and space planning skills, with experience creating functional and aesthetically coherent layouts.Proficiency in project management, including coordinating timelines, budgets, scopes, and multidisciplinary teams.Experience with construction drawings and documentation, including floorplans, elevations, and technical specifications.Knowledge of furniture and furnishings selection, sourcing, and procurement aligned with project concepts and client needs.Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and 3D visualization tools.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Excellent organizational, communication, and client relationship skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors; familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Naples, FL and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
