Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager

We're looking for a talented and experienced interior designer and project manager with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This person should be able to perform in a self-directed manner in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building and rendering, as well as construction administration, while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designsWork collaboratively with other team members as to best approachSelect FF&E and prepare FF&E specificationsIncrease required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Revit, Bluebeam, Enscape, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and InDesign), Spexx, and other 3D modeling, rendering, and legacy programsAct as a project manager for small and medium projects and teamsDevelop relationships and interact with clientsCommunicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultantsParticipate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firmBuild and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goalsMentor and develop team membersAny other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

A degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited school8+ years of experience in a professional interior design environmentProficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs; experience in Revit is requiredKnowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentationExperience in all conventional aspects of interior designExperience in all project phasesEffective verbal and written communication skillsAble to work in a collaborative, professional mannerAble to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learnAble to work independently with little supervisionRequired: Must be a NCIDQ certified interior designer or be on track to becoming a certified interior designer in the future
