Senior Interior Designer/Project Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Interior Designer to join our growing studio in a key creative and project leadership role. Working closely with the principal, this position combines sophisticated design development, technical expertise, and independent management of high-end residential projects from concept through installation. **Responsibilities** - Lead design development, space planning, sourcing, material selections, and client presentations. - Develop custom furniture and millwork, including freehand sketches, detailed drawings, and specifications. - Produce comprehensive construction documentation, including plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork details, and finish schedules. - Coordinate with architects and contractors; review shop drawings and submittals. - Independently manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, construction coordination, and installations with limited oversight. - Oversee purchasing, order tracking, deliveries, and installation logistics. - Lead communication with clients, vendors, fabricators, and workrooms. - Leverage and develop relationships with trusted vendors, artisans, and specialty trades. - Mentor junior designers and help improve studio systems and workflows.
