Senior Interior Designer

An Architecture and Interior Design firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Senior Interior Designer to their team! Job Description: - Collaborate with Project Managers and Architects to perform interior design assignments including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation... - Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment, color palettes and lighting - Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction - Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts - Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators - Will be working on a variety of projects Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent required - 5 or more years of professional experience - Experience putting together client presentations, FF&E and mood boards - Must be able to produce construction drawings - Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit is a plus - Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite is required About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
