Senior Interior Designer - Facilities

the Senior Interior Designer (SID) will join a team of design professionals who are dedicated to the enhancement of NYP Facilities interior design as a world class academic medical center. The SID will also be responsible for contributing to Capital and FACE Projects, as well as be responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to the broader NYP Interior Guidelines. Required Criteria • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design • Six (6) to eight (8) years of previous work-related experience • Proven ability to demonstrate an intermediate designer’s knowledge of interior finish materials, material specifications, and construction detailing • Experience in interior design and implementation of interior finishes and layouts • Submission and review of a design portfolio review and shop drawings • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate interior department’s process & procedures including project processes for Client Requested, FACE and Capital Projects.
