The Senior Interior Designer - Sustainability Specialist works with clients and project teams to establish and achieve goals related to sustainable building design and construction... • Comply with federal and state high performance and/or sustainable design standards for client projects. • Provide leadership to project design and construction teams in compliance with the "Guiding Principles for Sustainable Federal Buildings" and guide projects through associated third-party certification programs. • Provide leadership to project design and construction teams in compliance with commercial green building rating systems, including LEED, and guide projects through associated third-party certification programs. • 8 years related professional experience in sustainable design field is highly preferred. • A strong understanding of environmental/sustainable design practices, regulatory requirements, and current trends in the profession.
