Grant Leading Technology is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to become a part of our team! We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit within our collaborative culture. Responsibilities: • Oversee project workloads and schedules • Support Lead Designers in architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), and furniture meetings to determine clients’ needs • Coordinate deadlines and deliverables of Intermediate and Junior Designers • Document and present the team’s project status tracker • Develop and streamline design processes • Assist in training process development and implementation • Assist Lead Designers on large full building renovations • Local travel to perform site surveys including building and furniture surveys (20%) • Out-of-town travel required (around 20%) • Provide space planning deliverables, such as concept plans, test-fits, and furniture and finish selections • Participate in space planning design projects • Apply ADA/ABAA standards to test-fits • Research concepts and materials to support design team on concept development • Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion • Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships • Prepare deliverables for client presentation • Review Design Intent Drawings (DIDs) and Construction drawings (CDs) • Develop 35% DIDs www.grantleadingtechnology.com • Grant Leading Technology is an “equal opportunity employer”. Qualifications and Education Requirements: • Experience working within a quality management system • Experience in supervising and managing a team • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills • Works well in stressful and complex environments • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interior Design or Architecture or Fine Arts required • (10) years of experience in commercial interior design furnishings, finishes, fixtures and equipment in various stages, from conception to completion required • Proficient in AutoCAD • Furniture experience is a must • Experience with Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite or other design software • Significant exposure to various standards and practices applied in the design field • Experience working on projects in various stages, from conception to completion • Deadline and detail-oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience leading a project team • Experience communicating with client, PM and vendors • Government experience • Overseeing 20 plus projects • Training new hires • Implementing new processes and standards • Presenting and conveying designs to end users • Must live in the United States • Authorized to work in the United States with an ability to pass public trust clearance
