Senior Interior Designer/Assistant to Design Director

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer/Assistant to Design Director at Spire Design & Construction located in Denver, CO. As a Senior Interior Designer/Assistant to Design Director, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to interior design projects and assisting the Director with leading the design team. You will work with and report directly to the Director of Design as well as the President/CEO of Spire Design Studio. Qualifications • Associate's degree (or higher) in Interior Design • Proven experience in interior design, with a focus on Model Home Merchandising and Multi-family commercial/amenity spaces • 3-5+ years experience in FF&E selections • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Microsoft suite programs such as Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel • Strong understanding of space planning principles and overall good sense of design • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment as well as individually • Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics • Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines • Experience in project management and leadership roles is a plus • Carries a positive attitude, and an 'always willing to help' mentality • Ability to lift, carry and work longer hours on your feet during project installations • Travel up to 15% as needed for project walks and installations • Must currently live in the United States, have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
